HP Probook 450 G7 (8VU54ES#ABD)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone,

i've recently purchased a new HP Probook 450 G7. After a BIOS Update to version 01.05.04, the USB-C port stopped working completely. I can neither charge the battery nor connect any devices via USB-C. I tried different cables.

The USB-Connector-Manager shows error 43 (see screenshot).

Here is a list of things i tried to fix the error:

Reinstalling the UCM-UCSI ACPI driver.

Reinstalling Windows.

Re-flashing BIOS 01.05.04.

Updating HP S71 System Firmware to version 1.3.2.0.

I also tried to do a rollback to BIOS version 01.03.01 via Network BIOS Update, but the process stops at a point where the BIOS tries to get a connection to the HP update server.

None of my fixing attempts worked.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Thanks in advance.
