Product: HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello,
I have an HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2, with an USB C type port. Since there is no ethernet & no VGA on the laptop and only 2 USB-A ports, I bought an adpater to get ethernet + VGA + extra USB ports through USB C.
However, only the VGA works... I can display on an external monitor, but the ethernet & extra USB on the adapter don't work. I tried 2 different adapters (different brands), the situation remains the same: external display works, ethernet and USB don't. On USB, I tried mouse, keyboard, etc.
Does this mean that the USB C port has limitations? Or do I need to do something to make it fully functional?
Thanks!
