Hello!

 

I am having trouble with creating my multiple display set-up using the HP Pavilion Power Laptop 15-cb0xx. I am using an Insignia USB-C to HDMI adapter to set up my second monitor which was working fine for many months until a few months ago. Recently I decided to plug it in again and somehow the display worked! However, this was unfortunately short lived as once again the display stopped working. Weirdly enough however, the display was still being detected for a short period of time afterwards.

 

The only common factor that I can find between the aforementioned instances is that when the incidents happened was that I was gaming both times. Could this be due to an overheating issue causing trouble with the port?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
