Good moring,

I have just buy a new laptop, ProBook G8 model 2R9D7EA and a new HP USB-C Dock G5 with Audio.

The are two problem that are very annoing.

The first one the LAN connected on the Dock is bouncing up and down every few second, I have read in other group that is a problem on all G7/G8 notebook, probably a firmware error on the Realtek RTL8153 on the dock, but is impossible to use it.

The second on in the external display connected to the dock, is impposble to wakeup after a stanby or connected when boot. The only solution is to disocnnect and reconnect the cable.

All the firmware are up to date, I have try to disable all the Energy Saver function on the USB Realtek device, but nothing, The USB C in no a cheap dock and as described on the HP website it would be fully compatible with this notebook. Anyone as a solution?
