Omen 15-en000z
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I recently bought a new Omen 15z-en000z. Customized with more ram. McAfee has always annoyed me. I don't know what it is, or why, but it just does. I decided to get rid of all McAfee related software on my laptop after a week of having it. Meaning, I had to rely on Windows Defender for anti-virus. All options would enable fine, except the one where it actually scans for a virus. Kept getting "Managed by your organization." Annoying, right?

So, I decided to fix this. I opened up Registry Editor. I went to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft and found the registry actually limiting this. Also noticed a folder for HP related ones, which I find weird. Keeping my eye on that. I deleted the registry for said problem. Works fine now. Just wish I wasn't limited as an admin on my own computer 🙂
