HP EliteDisplay S14 portable monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

I recently purchased a HP EliteDisplay S14 portable monitor. This has a USB-C connection and is powered by the laptop.

When I physically installed the portable cable to the laptop (an ASUS VivoBook which includes Windows10 and a USB-C usb port.), the laptop does not recognise the monitor under the display settings. The portable monitor says "Input signal not found. Check the video cable and video source."

I have downloaded and installed the relevant driver for the monitor, restarted the laptop and still cannot connect.

When checking the display settings in Windows10, under "Multiple displays", there is no option to either extend or duplicate my laptop screen. There is only an option to connect to a wireless display. Does anyone have any advice on how I can get the portable monitor working?

Thank you.
