Product: Hp Elitebook 2570p
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

 

I have a HP Elitebook 2570p, which has a Micron C400 256 GB SED (self-encrypting drive). I want to update the firmware, but I'd rather not go through the hassle of having to reinstall windows. However the updater says that it will format the drive when you update. Is there any way around this?
