Product: HP Pavilion 17-f078nf

Hey guys and gals, 

I want to upgrade my wifi card to something that is compatible with both bands (2,4 and 5ghz), along with a/c.  I have read that some laptops have a whitelist in the bios that prevents them from upgrading wificards. IS my laptop one of those affected?
