For a while now (at least a few weeks) I have had a strange problem on my laptop (HP ZBook Studio G4, running Windows 10). All video is slightly delayed, by about a tenth of a second, compared to the audio. In most situations this is barely even noticeable, but when watching someone talk in a video it is clear that their mouth moves after I hear the sound.
When searching for this problem, I found solutions to two other problems: 1. audio delay compared to video (but my problem is the other way around); and 2. video delay, but it gets worse over time (also not my problem; for me it is out of sync immediately and doesn't delay any further, or catch up to the audio).
I have tried several different things: updating windows, updating audio drivers, updating graphics drivers, using a different audio driver, using different browsers, using different headphones. As my laptop has an Nvidia Quadro M1200 graphics card and an integrated Intel HD graphics, I usually have the Intel HD graphics turned off in the BIOS settings. I turned it back on, and updated the Intel drivers. So far, nothing has worked.
Overall it is a minor inconvenience, but it gets annoying when watching a video with someone talking in front of the camera, as the lips are always slightly out of sync. Things like gunshots in movies are also noticeably out of sync. I really have no idea what to do anymore, so I hope to get some new ideas here.
