HP Spectre x360 Convertible (Product number:N5R94UA#ABA)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have found a Lenovo monitor that supports daisy chaining. (ThinkVision P27q-20)  I'd like to buy two of them and use them with my Spectre 360.

On several support pages I've seen comments like this:  In addition, your GPU must support DisplayPort 1.2 MST. MST stands for “multi-stream transport,” and it’s the software that enables daisy-chaining between DisplayPort ports. If your GPU doesn’t currently support MST, you should be able to download an MST driver online. The driver will then enable daisy-chaining on your GPU.

I have searched and searched the internet and I cannot figure out:

  • How to determine if my GPU already has this MST capability
  • Where to find an MST driver if it doesn't already have this capability

I've probably spent three hours trying to find this information now, so if anyone could give me direction, I would really appreciate it!  Thanks so much.

Ann
