Just recently received this laptop almost two weeks ago. A week into owning it, I noticed a stutter in the touchpad where the cursor would (1) stop/freeze or (2)a small loading circle would appear where the cursor was or (3) the cursor would jump to where the new location is because I was still toggling on the touchpad. In each of those moments my swipes and movement on the touchpad wouldn't register.

I updated the touchpad driver, but it would still happen. I didn't have luck with updating via the support page for the laptop and the drivers listed via HP. They would download but not install. I finally updated through AMD Adrenaline 2020 and got the newest updates. The freezing cursor issue seemed corrected and I deduced it was probably the graphics driver.

Recently, I noticed on Youtube that the videos looked washed out - like a grey film were over them. This happened in Edge, Chrome and Opera browsers where turning off hardware acceleration for each fixed the problem. However, watching trailers or content bought from the Microsoft Store and using the Movies and TV app, the video appear washed out. Certain things like pausing and pressing the Windows Start button and the colors of the paused video would look 'corrected' or more lively, but when I resume the video, the grey film appears, dulling the colors. I've compared the same video on YouTube via browser (with hardware acceleration turned off) and the difference is apparent.

How do I fix the washed out colors on the Movies and TV app?

I would post a photo, but when I snip, the difference is barely noticeable. I'm thinking of resetting the computer as a last resort.
