Thank you! That worked, man. I have an older Probook and had to connect to new Adobe Connect software, but kept getting the BSOD. Frustrating. I tried a bunch of troubleshooting fixes, but none of them worked....until I read your comment. Bingo! That was it! I did have the HP HD Webcam installed as Default, but switching over to the MIcrosoft USB Webcam Device solved the issue. Works like a charm now. Can't thank you enough. Now I'm ready for my teleconference this week.
