I recently used Skype and the built in camera and microphone worked fine however when I closed down the connection the webcam light is still on even though I found out how to disable the camera....which in itself I wouldn't have exptected to be necessary. Logic dictates that closing down the connection should switch off the camera and mic. Be that as it may I CANNOT find a way to turn off the web light which is adjacent to the camera. There appears to be another smaller light on the other side  but I read that is actually the microphone.

I've looked high a low for a solution, followed most suggestions but without success. The built-in camera does not appear under 'imaging devices' only my printer does and a 'webcam' icon in 'Device Manager' seems to refer only to a USB camera.

Help needed.
