HP 15 Notebook Model r063tu
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I have an HP 15 Notebook, Model r063tu, on which the webcam has stopped working. I don't use this 5 year old laptop often, hence noticed this issue only recently. Checked the Device Manager for any notification or alert on any h/w component not working, but in only shows one exclamation mark against one "Unknown USB Device" and under "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers" it lists "Cyberlink Webcam Virtual Driver 6.0" with no exclamation mark or any other warning that this device isn't working properly. How do I troubleshoot this issue, as I have checked for any new driver update for Youcam Webcam but I already have the latest mentioned on the HP India Support site.

 

Any help to resolve this will be much appreciated. Thank you.
