Product: Hp stream notebook 13
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I recently upgraded my Fios router and for some reason my laptop can’t find it. My laptop found the old router with no problem. 

my other devices such as my phone and PlayStation found the new router and connected to the wifi with no problem. It’s only my laptop that wont connect to the new router. It connected to the old router with no problems.

 

I spoke to Verizon  Fios support and did their steps but they didn’t work at all. I also tried uninstalling the wifi network adapter and that was no help either. 

anyone have any suggestions or know the reason why my laptop can’t find the new wifi? I have windows 8. 1
