HP Pavilion Power Laptop 15-cb0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My card is a Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265, all my drivers are up to date; when connected to the 5ghz my connection will randomly drop, when I look at the connection list my 2ghz is still showing, after a few moments the 5g will show back up but sometimes wont reconnect until I turn Wi-Fi off and back on again. It happens even when I'm in the same room so it doesnt seem like it's lack of signal.

I have turned off power management for the device

I have reset my router

I have reset my net

I have even reinstalled windows

It happens over multiple routers so it really seems like it's something with my computer, no one else on my network seem to be having any issues.

Early on with my troubleshooting I kept getting the error "can't connect to this network" but for whatever reason that hasn't come back since I reinstalled windows, the 5g still keeps dropping.

I hope someone can tell me what I'm missing here; Thanks for your time.
