Product: Spectre360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have just started using WiFi extending devices which plug into the electrical ring main in my house. The WiFi network created by this system is open so no security is being shown in the properties list. I have McAfee installed and have activated the VPN security option.

Will this VPN protect me even though the network is still saying the new WiFi  network is open?

Thanks for any advise that can be given.
