Operating System: Linux

Hi
I am new to Linux and have just tried to install Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
The installation does not detect the WIFI Adapter so I have no access to the network.
I have seen many solutions to this problem involving connecting a wired connection.
Unfortunately, this laptop (HP Notebook - 15s-fq0008na) does not have an ethernet adaptor so its WIFI only.

Help???
