EliteBook 840 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi All,

I have an EliteBook 840 G5 with WWAN module (lt4132) installed. Currently I use the notebook as a router, i.e. connected to 4G which  is then shared as a mobile hotspot using WiFi.

It just works fine, for some time. After a while (random, between 1 and 5 hours), all devices connected to the notebook suddenly stop receiving any data, however the EliteBook still has a working connection on it. The only way to restore the hotspot functionality is to restart the machine.

I have already installed the latest available WiFi and WWAN drivers from the support page, also updated the BIOS to the most recent.

Additionally, the "Allow the computer to turn this device off" is unchecked for both the WiFi and WWAN, i.e. the OS should not turn them off.

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks,

Gabor
