Product: HP Elitebook Folio 1040 G2

After reseting BIOS defaults I am unable to boot up my Notebook and I am stuck at the WinMAGIC Drive encryption LOGIN  screen where despite entering the correct password I keep getting the error message : TPM Authentication failed. (0x1). I am getting the same message when entering the security questions. 

 

I remember creating an recovery USB but I am not clear (I don't remember) whether the system forced me the USB for this puporse of it was some other reason. 

 

Does anybody know how to resolve this issue, pleaese?
