Hello, I have recently downgraded from Windows 10 back to Windows 7 I realize support will end soon for this OS so I am looking to fix my WiFi issues before this OS becomes lost in the abyss.
The issue I have is this:
(I had many devices unrecognized I luckily found drivers for after re-loading Windows 7 onto my laptop but these two remain)
OK so I open this puppy up...
Oh no the driver is not installed?
let me look up the driver Ids...
I do some digging online and find the driver WiFi_21.10.1_PROSet64
I chose it manually and this pops up.
HUH??
OK lets try to install it with Intel...
looks like it has been installed or is already installed but is a newer version?
I tried installing it again and this pops up..
Now I thought OK I will just uninstall the driver, BUT that can cause my computer to completely reject the hardware according to information I found online. I don't want to lose the adaptor so I have refrained from uninstalling it from Device Manager to see if that will work.
I can't find a way to uninstall WiFi_21.10.1
I have installed it and the Network Controller refuses to recognize a driver is installed
I haven't been able to find anyone who has this exact issue please help.
