Spectre 13-af0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all, I hope you can help. I recently disassembled my Spectre to give it a clean and reapply thermal paste. After putting it together again, I got a checksum error on startup but this appeared to resolve itself after a restart.

However, Windows Hello is no longer functioning and I can't see the little reddish camera lighting up when it's searching for a face. After lots of troubleshooting, I've updated all my drivers through a program (Driver Reviver) and attempted suggested fixes, e.g. removing Windows Hello and trying to set it up again. It's simply says couldn't connect to camera.

Importantly, the camera works for all other webcam uses, e.g. Zoom, MS Teams, etc.

An interesting note: Driver Reviver states that it has updated the driver for HP IR camera, but it indicates that it is "unplugged". I don't believe there is a cable in the bottom tray of the notebook that I would have disturbed when disassembling, but it's possible. However, the Device Manager does not display an entry for HP IR camera, only the usual HP Wide Vision HD camera. I uninstalled and reinstalled the camera driver, and updated the BIOS and checked for any issues there.

I've had no luck so far, any help would be hugely appreciated!
