Hi,

 

when hovering over icons on the windows taskbar the previews presented disappear without the mouse pointer being moved away from the icon.  This only happens when an ethernet cable is connected to the laptop.  Without the ethhernet cable being connected the icons persists for as long as the mouse pointer is in position.

 

The symptoms are the same using the touchpad, wireless mouse and a wired mouse.

 

Any hints appreciated.
