Product: Pavillion DV6
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit)

Hi. My hp pavillion dv6 will start, but then some of the menu text will disappear and a single white line shows up at the top left corner. I've had the laptop on for an hour, and nothing has changed. This machine is 9 years old, but there is some important pictures and videos I want off of it. F8 doesn't work and neither does the other buttons. If there's nothing I can do myself, can I go somewhere to get the files off? Thank you and have a nice day.
