Product: Elitebook 8570p
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have YouCam 5 on my ProBook 6560b and I love it.  No issues.

 

I recentlly wiped and reinstalled software on my Elitebook 8570p.  I reinstalled all drivers and YouCam, among other things.

 

Initially after the reinstall YouCam 5 would only record in AVI files and I needed Mp4 (in 1280x720), so I upgraded to YouCam 6.  At that point, it would record M p4 files, but any file over 2gb would be unplayable after saving.  

 

I uninstalled YouCam, reinstalled all the webcam and video drivers, and reinstalled YouCam 5.  Now we're back to AVI only.  But the funny thing is, YouCam 5 on my Probook records Mp4 files.

 

YouCam customer support is stumped, they say it's an HP issue.
