HP Zbook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi. I have an older Zbook 15. I used to have a service plan on it through HP. Had a LOT of hardware issues with this lemon. Every time they'd come out to fix it, the subcontracted techs left me with new parts broken, cracked or settings screwed up. They used contractors who "kinda" knew how to repair these machines. I'm not one to complain, but they didnt do a good job at all.  Anyway, rant aside, I gave up and sent this directly to HP a couple years ago. They sent it back with a new problem. I'm a mechanical engineering student and frankly didnt have time to send it back and be without it.

Hopefully, the latest problem is just some sort of bios setting problem or something simple. I want to get this working and give this machine to my kid.

After this machine goes into sleep mode, hibernates or whatever, I get this message that "Boot Device Not Found, Please Install and Operating System on Your Hard Drive."

I simply unplug it, pull the battery and reattach the battery and replug it back in. It asks if I want to run diagnostics. I select "Exit" and it boots back up just fine.

Any ideas? Thanks
