HP Zbook G2 17
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

I am the owner of G2 zbook with following specs :

- CPU: Intel I7-4710MQ

- RAM: 16gb

- GPU : AMD FirePro M6100 2

I have the following problem. When I put the laptop under a load using CAD software, the screen goes black the fan spools up to 100% and stays that way until I turn it down with the power button.  It happens quite randomly, sometimes it handles a big file or load without any problems, and sometimes the is hardly any load and it cuts off the screen and spools up the fan.

I already changed the hard drive, reinstall windows and all software and the problem is still there so I think that the problem could be hardware related.

For the past 10 months, I have been using the laptop without any problems. I have been using it for heavy CAD and 2D design work (SolidWokrs, Catia, Autocad.. and until now  I had never experienced this problem.

Any ideas?

Thank you
