HP Recommended
Hp 15 Da1041tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
i went for ram upgrade from 8gb to 16gb from hp sevice center as well as cpu thermal paste replacement for 50 hour used new laptop in warranty.
i observed there is increase in CPU 8265u temp by 7 degrees approx than before and temp spikes to 95c often for few seconds when opening apps . is it normal or hp service guy didnt apply thermal paste well.
before upgrading in single channel mode  maximum temp reached  i saw was 88c and now i see its 95 max ..
idle temp is 40 -45c.
room temp 24c.
one thing i noticed is when i open big apps like chrome/vscode/   cpu temp spikes for few seconds to highest temp like 95c
and comes to 40 soon..
for small apps it spikes to 75c for few seconds.
this temperature spike didnt use to happen in previous gen cpus or latest, than 8th gen as per my experience.
running at high performance mode in charging mode..
if i use it on battery then cpu auto throttles to low freq and so temp doesnt go above 60 c in any case in  battery saver mode.
in high performance mode its same again.
