Product: hp pavilion gaming latop15-cx0598na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to remove the optane card from my laptop but when tried to it wont let me boot back up and keeps taking me to the assistance menu. I disabled it in intel rapid storage technology and check it was disabled in the bios but when i remove it or try to put an m.2 hard drive in it refuses to boot but as soon as I put the optane back in the boots no problem. why can I just remove it?
