I entered "caret browsing" on the google browser and now my keyboard is acting up. Sometimes the keys just don't work at all, lag, or seem to try and navigate the browser or do other things on my laptop I am not intending. I tried exiting caret mode by clicking F7 but it doesn't seem to do anything. Additionally, solutions I have tried to look up involve being able to type. What went wrong and how can I fix it?
I've also been finding that when I try to click links, instead of taking me to the page it will download the link.
