Product: dv7-1245dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an hp Pavillion dv7-1245dx and just purchased a hp xb notebook expansion base.  I was told the base would work with my laptop but the power supply from the laptop will not fit the expansion base.  Will the base work with my laptop??  If so then what type of power supply will I need?
