Hey guys!
About 1.5-2 weeks ago i started having BSOD issues. This was supposedly caused by a windows update (I don't remember which 1 it was). My laptop was working perfectly fine before the update and i had already encountered BSOD issues about 8-9 months ago (also after an update) and i also resolved these at the time after about 2 weeks of looking for solutions. This time however the BSOD was a different error (WHEA UNCONTROLLABLE ERROR) and i've been looking for a solution but so far i haven't found any. I noticed that the BSOD crash only happens when i play games, which is ridiculous since the laptop i'm using is LITERALLY a gaming laptop! The things i've tried so far are both stalling and performing updates (windows, HP, nvidia), sfc/ scannow, chkdsk, DISM, rolling back windows updates (1803, 1909, 20H2, 21H1), resetting pc, booting laptop with factory hp software on a usb, restoring pc system image, setting the bios back to default settings, i checked the hardware (HDD, SDD, RAM, cooling fans) since my warranty has expired 2 years ago and it all seemed fine. Sadly i couldn't think of any other possible solution and therefore i decided to try and install windows 7 on my laptop instead of windows 10 since windows 10 updates have caused nothing but issues on this laptop. The new issue i encounter is that the error ''the bios in this system is not fully acpi compliant'' pops up whenever i attempt to boot the laptop using F9/F10/F11 and then selecting the USB with the windows 7 software on it. I already went into the bios settings and enabled legacy support since this is disabled by default. This helped to make the USB visible whereas before switching that setting it wasn't visible at all. But i'm not able to progress from this point on due to the aforementioned error. I really hope somebody can help me with either 1 of the issues! (WHEA UNCONTROLLABLE ERROR and/or ''the bios in this system is not fully acpi compliant'')
