Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When ever the laptop turns on, black and white vertical lines pop up over the entire screen after the hp logo. They only stay for 1-2 seconds but very concerned as to what this is.

I also noticed this shadow on screen whenever I go into the settings. it disappears but reappears as well. 

And even though I bought it in 2020 and it was new, I noticed that the lid doesn't close all the way on one side after six months of use.
