You suddenly find because you cant act on this error messge to uninstall nonexistant? software on my pc...no where to be found at least...I can no longer update to ensure my windows 10 operating system on my machine is safe.

This is a very poor reflection on HP. Here we have a routine windows update that gives you an error message telling us to uninstall software and we find we have no way to do that or get around the problem.

Why doesnt HP email all registered members of the HP community who use the effected models, and make public they are urgently looking at this problem and will be back shortly with the solution.

We should not have to be stuffing around as we are forced to do, searching with remedies such as updating or re-install bios only to find that does not work, as do the otehr things we are forced to waste time with.

NOt fair HP. I bought two of laptops effected by this windows update only in April this year.

Please tell us what to do.

this is just not fair. You should be ashamed of yourselves for not acting quickly to help your customers.
