HP ZBook Studio X360 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

About a month ago (early December 2020) my zbook studio x360 g5 started having mouse issues.  I have tried docked and undocked, with wired usb and wireless mouse and with just the touch pad.  the same issue occurs.  the mouse goes to a spot on the laptop screen, stays there and acts like it is being clicked non stop, then it stops you can move the mouse but in about 20 seconds it goes back to doing that same thing.  reboot stops that but eventually it starts again.  it also does it every time it comes out of sleep mode.  I use image assistant o to insure all drives and firmware are updated.  since it is not constant I don't believe it is hardware related I think it is either firmware of driver related but I can't solve it.  everything is updated,  I mean EVERYTHING!  hopefully someone has a solution as this unit is basically unusable.  I called HP tech support but they have no reports of this issue and basically could not  help.
