I´ve found some problems with entering Complex Numbers in Polar Form into the HP Prime:
(I´m using ∟ as the symbol for "shift + x")
1. If I enter something like: "5∟pi/2", I get an Error Message. But entering "5∟(pi/2)" gets accepted correctly.
I find this quite inconsistent and annoying, but it wouldn´t be that bad.
So now to my main problem:
2. Entering "5∟(pi/2)*10∟(pi/2)", gets converted to:
So I have to enter "(5∟(pi/2))*(10∟(pi/2))" for it to calculate correctly.
Now this might not seem too bad, but I´m always looking for the quickest way to calculate something and my Casio fx-991 does this all without the parentheses. Does anyone know a way around this, or is this just the way it is?
Thanks in advance for your help!
