Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On M477 with firmware 20180201 I get the 10.0000 supply memory error on a non-HP cartridge.  Same printer firmware 20160921 the non HP cartridge works just fine.  I want either the executable for the 2016 firmware or a patch to the 2018 firmware so I can use non-HP cartridges.  I already chatted with support and they automatically closed my case without a resolution. [removed per Rules Of Participation] There response is to buy genuine HP cartridges.  I do not see how HP can dictate what supplies I purchase.
