HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When printing multiple pages (doesn't matter if it's from a laptop or desktop, wireless or USB) the print job will be cut up onto two pages instead of being fit onto one. So when printing 6 pages at once, page 1 will mostly be on the first page with a little cut off at the bottom, which is printed on the second page (12 pieces of paper used to print those 6 pages).

I already checked the settings and ensured everything was set correctly.

If I print one page at a time, its OK.  but not good for 90 page document.

Personal Opinion

There is little you can do besides making sure the document printing software / app is set up correctly.

Document printing -- and the settings -- are different depending on the software / app you are using.

For example,

================================

Word - Print Word Document

In addition to Printer Properties and the selections available main print menu, Word includes internal (File > Options > Advanced) settings for managing how the content is fitted on the paper.

Word > FileOptions > Advanced

In Section Print (about 2/3 of the way down)

CHECK or UNCHECK "Scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11" paper sizes

Click OK to save changes

If the line count exceeds the maximum for the font and other layout settings, one page of the document might not fit on one page of paper.

================================

PDF file (Exported from Word to PDF or received in PDF format)

In general, the original document formatting is included when a document is Exported to PDF.

Formatting includes the original margins, footnotes, headers, added print or document borders, and other Layout options.

If a single page of the document does not fit on one sheet of paper using "Actual Size", the usual solution is to use "Shrink to Fit, "Shrink oversized pages", or perhaps a custom size (percentage of 100%).

HP Smart - Windows - might not include "Fit" size selection

The Mobile version of the app includes a simple Transform / Resize option.

@DRAGON-FUR

First, thanks for the detailed and quick response.  I checked most all the printer settings.  Oddly, what fixed the printing error was changing/toggling from "Print on Both Sides of Paper" and printing 1- 3 pages.  That seemed to reset so on one sided printing I got 1 page with out cutting the page off and printing on a second page.  Go figure.

You are welcome.

I like what works; every so often I'm still surprised by what that is.

Thanks for posting the magic.
