Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

Out of the blue during a print job, the display suddenly reads "this printer is not compatible with continuous ink please change out the cartridge to an original.". Well, I was in the middle of a print job and hadn't changed anything and everything was printing fine it just happened randomly. I have pressed the back arrow key and gone into the support menu and to the resets menu however, there is no option for a full reset and the semi full and partial resets don't do anything to clear the error.  Please advise.
