Product: OfficeJet Pro 6968

I just tried to install 2 color ink cartridges - yellow and magenta, both HP 902XL cartridges.

The magenta cartridge is recognized by the printer.

I get an error message with the yellow one - either it can't "see" that the cartridge is in there, or it says it may be damaged. 

I checked for a firmware update - my printer is up to date as of Feb 2021.

The ink cartridge doesn't expire until Oct 2022.

I tried shutting off and turning on the printer several times.

The Virtual assistant said to unplug the cord and plug back in -- doesn't work.

I even tried reinstalling the OLD yellow cartridge and now the printer doesn't recognize that one either!

Does anyone know of some way I can trick the printer into recognizing this cartridge?
