OfficeJet Pro 9010
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and older

We run our printer server on Windows 2012R2 and I've added an HP OfficeJet Pro 9010; drivers associated is PCL3 for that model.  When installing this network printer, Windows 10 PC's add and print with no issues.  However, when installing this network printer on a win 7 Pro PC, the driver is not installed and we are forced to install the HP driver manually.

I also noticed, when printing a test page from the Printer Server Manager, 3 pages are printed.  The first page only has 2 ASCII characters, the second page has 2 ASCII characters as well (but different characters) and the third page has schmeared lines.

The driver version (HP website) for both Win 10 and Win7 are the same.

Any clues as to why would be most appreciated.
