HP T3500 MFP
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My client just purchased an HP T3500 Large Fomat MFP. The company they purchased it from has thrown their hands up with no solution to their problems.

First problem:

If you try to scan to a network folder it will error as soon as you hit the scan button in the last step to scanning. As soon as it starts to feed the document (in this case a blueprint). I set up the shared folder on the PC and have tested it in the HP T3500 web based setup and it tests good.

Second problem:

If you choose to scan to email it will attach and send it successsfully however, when it arrive in the mail and you click to open the attachment, Adobe Reader XI says: Adobe Reader could not open the single file "SinglePDF20180131145408-4.pdf because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

I'm about at my wits end with this one. I've installed and setup many differnt brands of MFP with very little trouble.

Update: I updated Adobe Reader to DC with no change in the results.
