HP Recommended
OfficeJet 6958
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I can no longer print at all in black.  The ink cartridges had all run low, so I replaced them.  After replacing, nothing printed at all including any colors.  After running all of the HP-recommended diagnostic steps, including all the “clean printhead” steps multiple times through the 3-stage cleaning process and the “Align Printhead” process, I was able to restore all of the colors to fully acceptable levels, but black never came back at all.  We only used HP brand 902 ink cartridges.  The black cartridge appears to have ink visible at the bottom, and it is properly vented.  I followed all of the steps given by the HP Virtual Agent as well, and this printhead is not removable.  The printer is definitely out of warranty, as we received this printer second-hand from a parent.  Are there any other steps that can be taken, or does this printer need to be replaced?
