This isn't really a question, but more of an answer for a number of threads that seem to have dead ended on the support site.

 

I ran into an app crash issue that pointed to a problem with the EasyColorPreFilter.dll, the prefix on it varies depending on the printer, but the issue seems common to multiple print drivers.

 

The resolution was to switch from the printer specific PCL 6 driver (i.e.; HP Laserjet M607 M608 M609 PCL-6 (V4)) to use the HP Universal Printing PCL 6 driver.

 

In our situation, the issue was resolved immediately and all print has been working perfectly since changing drivers.
