HP Envy 4502 e-All-in-One printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Installed the basic driver EN4500_Basicx64_198.exe for HP ENVY 4500 series (Network) on new MSI laptop with 11th gen processor running Win10-64.

Printer works well with my older laptop HP ENVY 17t-j100 Quad Edition CTO Notebook PC

My printer is connected to my home network via WiFi

Scanner works well but printing fails.

When using HP Smart and trying to print a PDF file, I get message "Your printer has experienced an unexpected configuration problem. 0x80070077"

When going to Settings>Printers>HP...4500 printer and trying to print a test page I get message "Operation could not be completed (error 0x00000077). The system does not support the command requested."

When printing from an application, the print job appears be started, but nothing happens.

I  removed the above driver and installed the printer driver from Settings>Printers>Add new printer: It installs as HPD2EEE5 (HP ENVY 4500 series).

The printer now works well but scanning is a problem now because HP Smart scanning does not have options to control brightness and/or contrast, and neither does Windows Scan.

If I install the first driver, and then add the driver from Windows>Settings>Add printer, I still cannot print.

Hope you know of a solution to this problem.

Thank you beforehand for your help
