HP ZBook 15 Mobile Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I am having trouble getting a Bose QC 35 II to work with the embedded Intel Bluetooth adapter on the Zbook. I am using the latest software version for the headset (2.1.3) and the latest patched version of Windows 10 Enterprise. When I use a third party bluetooth USB dongle (from Ewent), the headset works fine. The problem that I am experiencing is that the Bose headset is recognized and the drivers are installed, but I am not able to connect to the headset (pairing fails). In the Device manager and the playback devices list, I can see the headset, but it's not available in the Bluetooth list.

Other Bluetooth devices work fine on the Intel controller.

I have tried most of the suggestions that I could find on the Internet (factory reset the headset, removing devices, etc) without luck. Bose tech support refers to Microsoft or the hardware vendor because the device is recognized and  as said, when I use an external USB dongle from Ewent, it works fine.

Intel driver.JPGMicrosoft driver.JPGBose device manager and playback devices.JPGdiscovery stays empty.JPGI would think that this has got something to do with either a driver or incompatibility.

The Intel driver version is  19.30.1646.0853

I hope this can be solved.
