C4280
Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

My HP printer C4280 is not recognized (usb connection) by my laptop (Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ADA05 with Windows 10 in S mode).

It is not recognized as well by the HP Smart tool.

In order to install the proposed driver "HP Photosmart C4200 All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Driver" it would require to switch out of S mode of Windows (as all .exe apart from Microsoft Store tools are blocked in the S mode), but I do not want to do this (as it is not reversible and the S mode is preferable for the use of this laptop).

I cannot install the printer "manually" by using the "add a printer" function from Windows, as the proposed drivers from Windows Update does not seem to include for HP a driver suitable for the C4280.

Thanks in advance for any help to fix this
