Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had the Color Laserjet CP3525n in a stable setup for upwards of 7 years. Recently, our computers have been unable to "see" the printer. I have updated the Netgear R8000p routers firmware and plugged the network cable from the printer in a different port on the router. I have also tried HPPSdr.exe several times on two different computers but the printer is unreachable. According to the display on the printer, it has the static-IP address that the networked computers are trying use for printing. How likely is it that the cable between the printer and the router has degraded while the system has been stationary for many years?

Or could the problem be a recent Windows update?
