HP 2600n

Up until 2 weeks ago, my HP Color Laserjet 2600n printer worked flawlessly and wirelessly. Then, 2 weeks ago I bought a new wireless router and changed my WiFi network, and all of my wireless devices worked perfectly, including my HP 8600 inkjet printer, with my new WiFi network (after I reset the network and entered the new password)... EXCEPT FOR my HP 2600n printer. I believe I must install the Printer Driver for the 2600n printer to my iMac, which runs on Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard.)

I found a HP "Firmware" for the 2600n printer for my iMac's Snow Leopard OS -

HP Color LaserJet 2600n Printer Firmware Update Utility | Version 20120928

but after I installed it in m iMac it did not prompt me to reset the WiFi network for the printer. So I don't know if installing this Firmware amounted to installing the Printer Drivers for the printer, or whether I need to do something to get the printer to reset to my new WiFi network.

I'd appreciate any insights should you know how to address this issue. Thank you in advance.
