SL-M3870FW
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a SL-M3870FW unit that I have been using for the past 3 years. Recently, I had to reinstall Windows 10 on my PC and I'm stuck trying to setup the Scan-to-PC feature with the PC.

I followed the steps to do that by going to the advanced section in Easy Printer Manager (latest version), and setting up a profile.

I either get a message that says "There is some problem in scan module, please try again and if problem continues please repair application setup." or something along the lines of having a duplicate scan ID and that I should use a different scan ID. For the latter, I tried using a different scan ID and then again got the former message.

Yes, I tried deleting all related software and reinstalling, but to no avail.

Also, the printer can print fine, and the scanner works using the Easy Document Creator. So it's not an issue of bad connections.

One thing that I am curious about is that on the SyncThru Web Service UI, there is no longer the list of scan ID's that I used to be able to edit. The printer's firmware is the latest.

Appreciate any help on solving this issue.
